From June 7th to June 10th, a study visit and consortium meeting were held in Piran, Slovenia, as part of the MED2IaH and Erasmus+ project. The event was attended by the Dean, Dr. Anwar Kawtharani, and the Provost. Dr Ali Tarabay. Dr. Anwar presented on "The Role of Internationalization and Transforming Education: The Global Classroom of Tomorrow," providing valuable insights into creating a global classroom that prepares students for the challenges and opportunities of the future. The Provost, Dr. Ali, participated in a panel discussion that explored critical aspects related to the project's objectives, engaging in a meaningful dialogue with fellow participants. Dr. Ali shared his expertise on "Innovative Models for Sustainable Universities," contributing to the conversation on creating sustainable educational institutions. The study visit was attended by more than 17 different partners from the south Mediterranean, further emphasizing the international collaboration and knowledge exchange among participants. Notably, the event also coincided with the 15th-anniversary celebration of EMUNI, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and achievement.
